What is the value of a wireless keypad on your vehicle?  Who needs one and why?

Alot can be said for the ongoing pursuit of electronic happinenss, it seems everyday we are faced with new options on ways to make our life bigger, better, and faster.

In most cases the electronic "happy ending" comes up short of expectations but not always.  The Blackberry created a paradim  shift in the way we communicate, IPOD has created a musical revolution of sorts with even grandmothers downloading tunes, so there is evidence that sometimes an electronic device will have a psotive effect on our lives.

What I want to know is will a tiny wireless keypad that attachs to your car and allows you to unlock the doors by keying in a 5 digit code improve your quality of life?  Is not having to walk around with keys in your pocket, not having to worry about leaving them in your purse or in your shoe, is it really going to liberate and improve the time we spend away from our cars?

As much as I hate having a big wack of keys in my pant pockets, I was a non believer. I was content to hand my keys to my wife who put them in her purse; if she was not around I was not above asking a friend to hold my keys.   When the topic of a wireless key pad entry system came up I disdainfully remarked "forget about it."    The idea was too obvious to be any good,  why had it not been done before, if we really wanted it we would already have it.

I was wrong, the idea was too obvious,  but in a way that all great ideas are obvious.

No holes to drill, no wires to cut, the keypad was installed on my car in less than 10 minutes.  The freedom from keys is something that is hard to explain until you expereince it.   I highly reccommend it for anyone who has ever looked for their car keys.  The XPRESSWireless Keypad changed the way I think about my car.
